Our Terms & Conditions
1. Our cost estimates include recommended prices for the offered volume at the time the offer is made.
2. We charge an hourly rate. The fees include quality assurance and queries about the edited texts. The service prices quoted do not include VAT.
3. The prices at the time of order placement are valid. In the case of tight deadlines, following mutual agreement, an additional 50% tariff will be applied.
4. The minimum order value is CHF 75.00. Up to 1 hour the time will be calculated in 15-minute intervals, from 1 hour on billing will be calculated based upon 30-minute intervals. The minimum invoice value is CHF 112.50.
5. Orders that are cancelled 24 hours before the agreed time of delivery will not be charged for. Orders cancelled within the 24 hours prior to delivery will be subject to a compensation charge for the scheduled job. If the customer rescinds the contract before delivery of the order due to reasons outside of the responsibility of Text Control AG, a payment obligation comes into force to the full amount of expenses incurred to date.
6. Payment terms: 30 days net. Bank charges are the responsibility of the customer. In the case of late payment, a handling fee of CHF 30.00 will be levied following the second reminder. In addition, from 30 days after the due date interest will be charged at current market rates.
7. In the case of any errors, Text Control AG will, following proven intent or gross negligence on our part, provide compensation up to, and no higher than, the amount of contract value. Written complaints are accepted up to 14 days following delivery of the text. After the 14 day period, the work is considered acceptable and beyond reproach. Objections to parts or partial deliveries do not provide grounds for rejection of the entire delivery.
8. Text Control AG takes a staunch approach to appointment commitments and punctuality. For delays caused by force majeure, we assume no liability.
9. The client is fully responsible for the legal admissibility of any and all text content. For the authority to publish, the client takes over all rights and responsibilities associated with the text. If no explicit authority to publish is granted, the client takes over all rights and obligations from the point printing or online publication commences. In the absence of an authority to print, Text Control AG is absolved of all liability.
10. The texts will be treated confidentially. To this end, additional confidentiality agreements may be signed. The transmission of text and data between the client and Text Control AG is done so at the risk of the customer.
11. These terms and conditions apply to all business between Text Control AG and the customer, unless a different agreement has been made. Any changes do not affect the validity of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
12. By placing an order the customer confirms that he has read these Terms and Conditions and has accepted them.
13. Court of Jurisdiction and place of performance is Zurich, Switzerland.
